[Previous entry: "Your abundance of faith disturbs me"] [Next entry: "PANEXA: The very latest in pharmaceutical research"] I left the sunny state of WA at about lunchtime today and am currently in Brisbane, fuelling my Internet addiction and transcribing a stack of e-mails that I wrote on paper on the plane. I think I might be missing the whole point of computers, although one person has already watched me tapping away in PuTTY and Firefox and asked whether I was some sort of programmer. (It would be very easy not to pay for this connection, actually.)

I am on my first John Flynn placement at the moment, and I must say the College is looking after me - no backpackers for this medical student!

Anyway, I have to get on a bus in about seven hours, and there is a small possibility that a 90km hole may open up in my travel plans, so hopefully I'll be posting some time Monday or Tuesday to say that Texas, Queensland (population 817) is as awesome as it sounds.
