[Previous entry: "Interesting things you can do with WebCT 6 (Part 2)"] [Next entry: "I stand before you, a broken and bitter man"] I was feeling quite confident about tomorrow's Infectious Diseases exam. I am reasonably competent at naming and identifying any one of the three hundred bacterial species we need to know, can name a dozen or so useful antibiotics and their classes, can spot the name of an intestinal protozoa as opposed to a worm, and have a good handle on the one guaranteed exam question, splenectomy and its complications.

Then I hit the short answer section of the practice paper. Predicted overall score: 31%.

Uh-oh.
