Me: "Well, I was thinking of writing up Person J. Spent a bit of time last week talking to them. I haven't seen them today though, I was going to go before lunch."

"Oh - um. Person J passed away over the weekend."

Not that upsetting, really, just surprising.

Hey, the first person I did a case study on died before I managed to finish it, too...

I read three files worth of notes over two days to present the next day.... he dies the night before..
Patients are really inconsiderate!

yeah, i had my ACS guy die the week before it was due. It felt very unsettling. Not upset, but very strange.
