[Previous entry: "On British furnishings"] [Next entry: "How not to name your kid"] This is not an entry about how great Python is or how it's basically the best programming language in the world and if you don't think so you must be stupid. It's not an entry on how I'm proud to be a Blub programmer because Python is basically perfect for everything I do, lack of a non-sucky GUI interface nonwithstanding.

This is an entry for the converts in the audience - for those learning or reasonably proficient with Python.

If you're like me and never really understood generators or why they're useful, go and check out David Beazley's "Generator Tricks for Systems Programmers". Then you can throw your shell scripts away.

Bonus link (thanks [TRS]) - The History of Python, a blog written by Guido van Rossum.
